Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We normally use Miro to Conduct research activities (various types of workshops, interviews, expert reviews) and Create deliverables such as user journeys, personas. Create user flows Create low-fidelity wireframes

Pros

  • Provide various resources to cover a variety of needs (post its, shapes, apps with additional resources)
  • Collaborative features (well live collaboration, commenting)
  • Facilitation features (timers, voting)
  • History to track actions

Cons

  • The sharing limitation. Is not clear why sometimes users from the same organization cannot access the boards shared.
  • Poor performance in Safari (low, lag, crashes)
  • I'm sure we haven't experienced any decrease.
Is a really friendly platform. I normally work with people who are not tech savvy but are able to find their way easily when presented with the tool.
I've seen some user research platform as Enjoy HQ and Dovetail that allow integration, but have not had the chance to use them from there.
It has been exceptionally useful and key for our team to maintain our activities on going throughout the pandemic.

At that moment was more of an arbitrary decision. However, we changed to Miro because of the performance and also because Miro included workshop facilitation features that MURAL had first.
Currently, I work from home. Miro has saved us in times of need when face-to-face workshops weren't possible due to the pandemic. We could carry out several workshops (since discovery activity with clients and co-creation sessions) smoothly, and also without compromising the engagement.
