Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have used Miro multiple times over the past few years on consulting engagements. It has always been incredibly useful for my project teams to utilize - providing an opportunity for people to collaborate effectively and easily. I noticed particular benefits when we were able to co-create with our clients and share screens. This has been a growing use case - especially given the rise of remote work.

Ease of Integration

I have not been formally involved with Miro's integration - however, based on a number of colleagues' reports, it is fairly easy to integrate with our systems. Once initially set up, it is very easy for users to hit the ground running and provide access to a broader user base or community.

Collaboration

Yes - it has helped my project teams work far more closely - despite being geographically dispersed. Working with a client who also had access based across 5 European countries and multiple time zones, it was very easy to promote co-creation and collaboration. I found it very intuitive, so it was ideal for new projects with new users.

Alternatives Considered

OneNote, Microsoft Teams and Xmind

I have not used many other whiteboard tools beyond those built into MS Teams or other Microsoft products. On the whole, though, Miro was definitely my first choice and will be my preferred choice going forward.

Likelihood to Recommend

I believe it is particularly well suited to working in mid to large teams where the goal is collaborating in one single space - especially remotely. I worked with a client where we used it to help outline their broad team structures before translating this into more detailed org charts.
