Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for multiple business problems. The production team mostly uses it for agile retrospectives, to collab within teams for lean projects, initiatives, and to gather information and do some research. Within my department, we use multiple boards, 1 is to have a kanban board to identify what are our daily activities, blockages, and activity status and have our daily sessions. The 2nd board is to manage our workload, and type the activities we need to deliver in the near future, so we can self-actualize and re-prioritize efforts based on it. The 3rd board we started using not a long time ago, is for a Risk Register. We use Confluence and set those risks in a Jira board, but all the brainstorming, and setting some useful insights on what to think of to gather as many risks as possible is done in the Miro board. For other departments within the company, not completely sure, but most likely will be the same approach as it's mentioned above.
  • You are able to gather all the information in one place (images, documents, create sticky notes, add videos, etc)
  • It lets you collaborate with all your team/group at once and it has the option for you to lead the presentation and make sure everyone is following your steps (where you currently are in the screen)
  • It's a very dynamic webpage that encourages innovation, every person will use the objects in hand differently and allows for more participation within sessions
  • It also comes with templates ready for quick and easy usage
  • come with video tutorials, I remember the first time I use it, I didn't know what I was doing
  • When searching for a board, it can get a bit complex to actually find the one you are looking for. Maybe adding a tag because using/adding a location it still is hard to find the board you are looking for.
  • Better engagement and collaboration within my team
  • We identify the workload and can reprioritize efforts accordingly
  • Improved productivity, since everyone can see what we are doing and share their knowledge and thoughts on any action posted
I have integrated a board with Atlassian and it worked perfectly. At first, I had some issues that were related to the Atlassian side of things. As mentioned in a previous question, I enjoy the way you can integrate multiple apps, embed code from the board, and have the flexibility to export it on a PDF or an image and for me at the moment, it shows I can just make it work with anything I'm working with or might work in the future.
At my company, we have multiple offices around the world and this has been used for presentations, monthly reviews, Annual reviews and it allows for anyone to join from anywhere in the world, and this is so easy. With the multiple templates and activities, there are also templates for icebreakers, so it's amazing!

I think that for any company is very useful. You can interact with colleagues at any moment of the day, add comments, review the changes made by that person and gather all your information on the board. I have never had the issue that I no longer have space within a board (I don't even know if that is actually possible). If you are the owner of the license, it allows you to fully organize and create teams and projects to organize where each board should go and it's easier for anyone.

Also, it allows you to download flowcharts or templates and share it/export it into multiple different formats, which for me are the most useful ones, which is also a great benefit. You no longer need to use a different program or learn something new and invest more time in it.
