Overall Satisfaction with Miro

In the new reality of mixed-location collaboration, Miro has served me well as a virtual gathering place to share ideas and build consensus. I run virtual workshops with clients to align on vision and concepts. I capture notes for internal sessions and working groups. I even translate what I hear into concrete diagrams and visualizations to aid conversations in real time.

Pros

  • Fast capture of information.
  • Simple Collaboration.
  • Structure for notes.

Cons

  • Inviting outside collaborators to boards.
  • Simplicity in managing access and seeing passwords for boards.
  • Speed of refresh and ability to work without a fast connection.
  • Better early alignment with clients.
  • More collaborative pursuits of work.
Not really integrated.
We live that reality every day. It would be hard to collaborate remotely without tools like Miro. It gives me a location to host sessions and rally the troops around a common cause.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

The other solutions are more focused on higher fidelity explorations and not well suited for brainstorming and workshopping.
When working on getting clients all on the same page, Miro really helps them feel like their opinions can be captured in real time. Sharing concepts or early-stage work and soliciting feedback, either in real-time or asynchronously, Miro is great. When the fidelity starts to get higher, Miro isn't always the best suited for tracking feedback and ensuring nothing is lost.
