Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I typically use Miro on a project management basis. It's been a helpful visual for team members who sit globally and among different time zones to keep track of statues. Additionally, I've used it over the past year for event planning which included budgeting and individual team members' daily tasks for the entirety of the event.
Pros
- Collaboration among team members.
- Private boards.
- Organization element variety.
Cons
- I personally have an issue with zooming in/out and moving elements around that I'm not actually trying to move.
- I would love to see some resizing options or suggestions for sizing, so the boards don't get overgrown.
- Under privacy, I would love to see a rundown of who currently has access and the opportunity to remove access.
- Successfully onboarded five rounds of designers and were able to have eyes on the progress of their completed exercises.
- Successfully used Miro boards to implement a department-wide event of 52 global colleagues.
- Collaborated among leadership with vital privacy settings surrounding annual reviews and promotions.
I lead a global program where many team members do not sit locally to my regional office. Utilizing Miro has allowed my full program to have eyes on projects and next steps, despite time zones, offices, and language barriers. It's been extremely helpful to continue progress while half the team is asleep and vice versa.
