Great premise, but far from elegant
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use it for collaboration during workshop where people can write on virtual post it notes. We also use it to do a visual road map or brain map that we can share with colleagues.
Pros
- It is visually appealing
- Collaboration is achieved easily
- Creating and capturing a brain map / road map
Cons
- Ease of use. Coworkers are complaining that Miro is not intuitive to use. I tend to agree.
- Having trouble with differences between the available tools (post it vs. frame vs. others). I often want to just create a text box with bullet points, but I can't find the tool to do such thing unless I start with a template.
- The floating tool bar is often blocking the view of the board
- Bulleting and indentation feature needs to be more robust like MS Word / PowerPoint
- It is a barebone replacement of using a whiteboard collaboratively with other teammates.
Very nicely.
