Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro has been a fantastic tool to replicate that physical whiteboard or so I thought at first. As part of my role I use Miro to bring teams together virtually so everyone has the same reference point and visual information. Its been great for workshops, presentations, quickly capturing ideas but also to plan and organise my own thoughts, share insights and the frameworks are things I use often for additional ideas and inspiration on how to best get my thoughts out there.

Pros

  • Collaborator interaction
  • Provides templates
  • Almost unlimited customisation of boards

Cons

  • Lag when numbers increase has been frustrating
  • Time saving is too difficult to comprehend
  • Certainly its enabled quicker action in a workplace thats changed dramatically
I haven't integrated Miro with any other tools or products as of yet. I need more words here to be able to move on as there is no skip question option 31 words done now 15 more to go before I can get a move on. This form isn't great by the way
Having a reliable product has made things a lot simpler. The interface works well with numerous people and having a common interaction point and enough space to break away from the main topic is incredibly useful. Being able to share and download the boards as well has been a great option for when you need to extract the output of a session.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro works just as well if not better than the others. Its simple but powerful and enables a lot of collaboration, the templates available and the ease of adding and removing things that you just want to see has been great. I had originally used MURAL but have come to prefer Miro
Virtual workshops - lower numbers (less than 20) where interaction is important but the group isn't too large to be effectively facilitated

Not as good for a mixed team of in person and virtual. Everyone has to use it which feels clunky for those in person. A good way around this would be to have some form of AI that could enable a live whiteboard to be used as the miro board for those in person still taking the input from those only virtually available
