Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for brainstorming sessions where we can link in documents, images, cards etc when we are thinking about how to solve a problem. It also used as our agile board where we track how our audits are progressing so individuals, managers and other teams can check to see what we are working on and how it's going.

Pros

  • Linking documents
  • Showing previews of websites
  • Apps such as planning poker

Cons

  • It's a bit expensive from what I hear
  • Notifications about changes to section of the board
  • A way to develop workflow on the board
  • Has helped us to think outside the box and easily display new ideas
  • Ease of use has meant non-tech folk have found it easy to pick up and use
We used a plugin to connect it to Jira but it was very difficult - we have not tried again since the connection broke last year
The board is very useful as it is constant for everyone as we WFH 3-4 days a week.

Miro is more flexible and easier to pick up and use for non-tech folk
We find it useful for brainstorming activities and for a flexible agile board.
