Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Used for consultation with building users, teachers and parents and stakeholders to gain their views on topics to inform the design. This included a series of questions that they could add comments and emojis too as well as a mood board where they could add their own ideas. This allowed us to reach a wider audience as it is virtual platform and the mood boards should be shared through a link.
Pros
- Easy to use
- Graphically interesting
- Intuitive
- Easy to use for the person setting up the board but also easy for the user to use even if they have never used Miro before
Cons
- A how to use leaflet would be good that we could then send to users instead of having to explain how to use miro
- Quick feedback from consultees
- Wider audience reached due to ease of use and ability to share boards through a simple link.
- Easier to collate the information after and present it in a nice graphic output
Can collaborate from anywhere by sharing a link. Good for virtual working and reaching a wider audience when carrying out consultations. Allows the team to all access the board live at the same time to do brainstorming of ideas as well as accessing the board in your own time which makes it flexible and suitable for multiple uses. Has been ideal for home working when colleagues cannot all work together in the office.
