A go-to tool for remote work
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We are using Miro since around 3 years ago.
The usage grew quite significantly with remote work becoming the new normal.
We have several use cases for using it:
- retrospective meetings
- technical refinements and engineering brainstromings
- documenting current and future state of our services
- engaging meetings with stakeholders - both for sharing information and also for requirements gathering

Pros
- collaborative tool that allows participants to brainstorm ideas and vote on them
- helps team improve shared understanding of their domain
- helps team keep a "history" of past meetings, action items, etc.
Cons
- We are using Miro primarily in engineering teams; however architecture diagraming is not very straightforward.
- Organizing Miro boards is a pain! I cannot organize my teams' diagrams in subfolders
- Please let me search in the list of current folder, instead of overriding ctrl+f of the browser. It slows me down + searches outside of the context of the current folder.
- improved productivity
- better team engagement and collaboration
It is our go-to tool, a default that we use whenever whiteboarding is needed.
