Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Workflow and Business Process Design, Collaboration for workshops to get ideas up and priorities of key outcomes with stakeholders. Miro is used widely across the information technology part of our business as a way to colloborate, run agile ceremonies and produce visual representation of how to solve problems or address opportunties

Pros

  • Easy to create a workflow of steps, connect boxes and do it visually with users to enable thinking
  • Collaborate with large groups of users over multiple locations, in and out of office.
  • Replace what was done previously with post it notes on walls to a Miro board

Cons

  • Templates for process design
  • Tutorials of new features
  • Tutorials of popular features
  • Provides a knowledge base for the organization
  • Can be hard to manage with multiple teams and unfinished outputs
Easy to use but works best in the app rather than browser when there are a lot of users accessing the same board. I really like all the extra addons and templates that are available for use as it's easy to tailor what the outcomes that you need done with suggested techniques
Workflow creation and the ability to easily put a website screenshot and highlight areas of change for other teams that are working on our website. It's great to be able to go back to screenshots stored in the library, share them or reference them later on to see what decisions were made by the team
I used to often use Visio or other process modelling tools to perform current state analysis across different business processes within different business units that may be impacted by a new project that looks to address an existing problem or new opportunity. Miro has replaced these tools to where licenses have not been renewed of the other tools
Very easy to intergreate, the only intergration I have done is to link Miro to Jira, so when we are performing software development activities for website features and we break the user stories down for each feature we have a screenshot of the page from our designs and then can provide links to all the user stories in JIRA for our stakeholders or team to acceess
I have not used this feature so I am unable to provide any further feedback on this
I have not been involved in the evaluation of this products. Miro was a product that was adopted by our business and at first it was to a small group of users but has grown and is used by a wider community. It has really transformed our ways of working in the ways of colloboration

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well suited to lead a workshop where users collaborate and can vote on their ideas. This becomes difficult to manage with large groups with sometimes lag and frames being moved and can be hard to manage
I have also found Miro a great tool to provide a sitemap of a website, to highlight areas of a certain page where a new feature would be introduced
