Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Our use cases are around group collaboration for brainstorming, problem-solving, affinity analysis, innovation workshops, or idea mapping.

Pros

  • Using sticky notes for affinity analysis.
  • Using the mind map feature to organize ideas.
  • Using diagramming tools for collaboratively developing process diagrams.

Cons

  • Would like to see a feature that enables the ranking of content/ideas based on a voting system.
  • Would like the ability to export/save individual frames to PDF.
  • Improved productivity for geographically dispersed teams.
  • Improved productivity under remote work constraints.
With the advent and constraints of remote work, adopting Miro has allowed my team to continue collaborating effectively. Miro's whiteboarding capabilities are far superior to other tools that we tried (e.g., MURAL). Unlike a physical whiteboard, at the end of it, you are left with a digital record!

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

We used MURAL before adopting Miro, and found its collaboration capabilities and graphical toolset to be lacking.
I feel that Miro is particularly well suited for group collaboration exercises where multiple participants can enter and edit content in real-time. The diagramming tools could be improved by adding more shapes and better/more configurable options for connecting shapes.
