Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Our business is quickly growing so we are constantly exploring new ideas and opportunities. Miro is SUPER useful in taking these really ambiguous ideas and turning them into organized plans. My favorite use of Miro is plugging in business frameworks and allowing people to add. As a really visual learner, the tool is HUGE in helping me communicate the craziness in my head because it allows me to organize it in a more intuitive way than writing it all out. As a person working in a fast paced environment with people that have limited capacity, the ability to convey ideas in a more efficient way is everything.
  • Collaboration
  • Templates and ideas
  • Ease of use, quick to get team going
  • Right level of complexity, not too much but has pretty full ability
  • Miro is down more than I would like
  • (take with grain of salt) Training. I'd like to have a clear path to getting better
  • Have templates that are formatted for export, things can end up small
  • Have templates optimized for consolidating data captured in large board
  • Reduced project complexity
  • Improved productivity by solidifying nebulous ideas and providing clear frameworks
  • Greatly improved project alignment and speed to getting there
  • greatly reduces friction in ideating and planning
  • helps us save our leadership' time
My supervisor was the one that implemented it. In all honesty it was just dropped in my lap one day and I was expected to use it. I am fairly good with figuring these things out and Miro is super intuitive so I did not have any problems but there really wasn't much more than that.
Some things just cannot be written. They need to be represented visually. Miro has given us the ability to do that in a really effective way. My favorite part is that I don't have to share my screen or write what other people are saying. We can all be on the same page with the same view, contributing live.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is way easier, has much more flexibility and is far more effective to collaborate on. It is really that simple. I can do almost everything I want to do on there but it remains easy to pick up for people that I ask to collaborate with me. I did not personally choose Miro but I am thankful for the person that did.
We have a lot of meetings (like many do) where the team ideates and talks in circles. Miro is a supper effective way to get those things written down. To plant a stake in the ground so we can take next steps. I find these especially useful in strategy-esque conversations.

We also love Miro for retrospectives. Any time we want to get a lot of input from a lot of people it is super nice to have a series of frames that we can walk through together while individually working on.

It has also been extremely useful in process mapping. Love being able to use different shapes and colors to show what is happening.

It is not great for timelines, I find it difficult to make adjustments and label things easily Also not great for making deliverables that are intended to be continuously used from a PM perspective. Not that I would expect it to be but still.
