Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for everything you can imagine. We conduct workshops either internally or externally, we use it for presentations, gather information, mind mapping, idea mapping. Everyone at my company use or interacts with Miro including developers, designers, product managers, sales.

Pros

  • helps us to collaborate more efficiently. easy to share a board or adding comments.
  • helps us put our thoughts in one place & express our feelings (via stickers) :)
  • Love the timer this is very helpful when we do a timed workshop with clients.
  • Board can be endless but at the same time it is easy to manage
  • Love to use different shapes, and create a roadmap on the board. I found that very useful.

Cons

  • Presentation is not easy in Miro. No animations for example.
  • I don't find the templates relevant. Timeline, roadmap templates dont apply to us, at least not the way it has been put together.
  • With Miro we can increase our efficiency by 50% because in my old company we didn't use Miro and it took forever people to collaborate through Confluence pages. It was not easy to read the whole text, Miro helps us to break it down and make it easier to digest the info.
we use Slack & love my Miro updates in Slack because it prompts me to go to Miro and read the comments people left for me. I get highlights from Miro board however I dont find that very useful. I participate in all the Miro boards we create, so I dont think I need to get highlights of the board. It is irrelevant to me.
Miro makes everything so easy, and makes everyone more involved.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I was not involved with the selection process but I wouldnt waste my time looking for any products as Miro gives us what we need and more.
It is the best tool I have ever used for collaboration. It is like having a live board and everyone is welcome to put their thoughts in. Great for workshops or taking notes when speaking to a potential client. Although one of our developers find Miro slow to take some notes. He uses Notion to dot his notes down quickly.
Personally I prefer Miro for it as we dont need to duplicate the notes.
