Miro is one of the best collaboration tool; As a UX Researcher, I cannot imagine my day without going on my Miro board.
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Mainly I use Miro for doing my research synthesis, Team collaboration and also to present my research findings to different stakeholders, I find it very easy to ask my team members to join in and ideate on real time basis, Also during research synthesis, I bring all of my research data together, which really helps me to look at all the findings at one place and do the synthesis as per need.
Pros
- Team Collaboration
- Presentation
- Research synthesis board
- User friendly during the design
Cons
- Some basic design feature
- Grammer check
- Prototyping feature
- Video playback within slides
- Reduced dependency on several tools like MS word, notepad and PPT.
- Unmatched collaboration tool
- definitely saves time
Absolutely, I cannot imagine my work post pandemic without Miro, I have also used several other collaboration tools like MURAL but the flexibility I get using Miro is unmatchable. Having several usable templates and plugins for stickers, icons are like icings on top of a cake. Those templates and stickers helps in creating presentation in very short span of time.
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
As stated earlier, I have also used MURAL in the past but the level of flexibility i get from Miro is the best. Miro is very swift in usage, sharing and presenting. Also when we talk about the privacy, I think Miro ranks on top where we get full control on the data. for example - who can edit or view.
