Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We work globally, so varying time zones can be a challenge. We also have a few different levels of approvals, so tracking progress visually is necessary.MIRO has been an incredible tool for tracking creative projects. From the initial brief to creative reviews, it's an easy way to keep track of each round, the revisions and the progress. So much better than searching through emails to find information or next steps. Creative concepts can be quickly added and adjusted without the hassle of building a keynote or a powerpoint.It's also been highly useful for communication across multiple time zones. Being able to tag a specific person or group makes it simple to assign tasks, leave commentary or feedback, or give approvals without requiring a meeting or time alignment. It's become an integral tool for our teams to be able to work cross-functionally and efficiently.

Pros

  • The tools make it easy to share and track involved creative projects and progress.
  • Ease of use makes it accessible for everyone. Simple to learn and use.
  • Being able to create and control specific user groups and specific controls on sharing make it easy when dealing with sensitive projects.
  • Wide variety of start templates that help with almost any need.

Cons

  • I find the type tool a bit awkward. The way it creates the text box and scales aren't as intuitive or useful as using illustrator or indesign
  • When I have a notification in my email, I click the link and it opens chrome. Then instantly asks if I want to go to MIRO. I wish it didn't do this. It's annoying if I just need to give a quick approval.
  • I wish there was an option to change the background color.
  • Streamlined our process for creative sharing and approvals.
  • Increased communication between cross-functional teams.
  • Created a more efficient process to deliver faster.
When your company moves at a snail's pace, it's not surprising that implementation takes a bit of time. Not to mention the IT issues and user errors.
As a global company, we have employees in almost every time zone. It's been an incredible value to be able to share and communicate with other teams in one, easy to navigate place. People can respond when their time allows and it can be picked up by the next person when their time allows. It keeps the steady stream open without negatively impacting any individual.
