Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Currently my team is working on developing the Mobile App for the company and we utilize Miro heavily for managing our roadmap, taking in suggestions for features, or mapping out customer flows for different processes.

Pros

  • Templates are incredibly useful and easy to use
  • Collaborative working
  • Visually appealing flowchart options

Cons

  • The connect with Jira, there are some of those "cards" that you can create in Miro that'd I'd like to associate with a Jira card, but not create a Jira card from it
  • We've been able to easily manage what is a constantly changing roadmap for us
  • Easy exporting out of Miro specific frames as a PDF for sharing, so easy to keep our shareholders informed of exactly what they need to know
  • Improved transparency and communication
Haven't had any issues.
Integration with Jira has been a bit difficult.
This statement is completely accurate, our staff is working everywhere throughout the US and it's easier to work and see the latest updates in Miro than it is to try to find time to meet.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro has been my favorite as opposed to Bluescape and Asana. Bluescape felt a bit outdated and not as smooth to use. Asana did not have the extent of flexibility or features for the purposes we wanted.
Miro is well suited:
  • Roadmap management
  • Meetings like retrospectives, standup
Miro less appropriate: (but wish it could do)
  • Assign dates to items for follow up and have those items pop up, more like to-do list management that I use Todoist for currently
