HUGE Miro Fan!
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro in our consulting org to primarily abstract out technology landscapes, and operational/people processes. Miro is versatile in that it fulfills a range of client use cases by providing a visual to the problem, and a visual to potential solutions. I typically import images from the abstract/visuals into our decks for clients...
Pros
- Range of templates available
- Flexible icons and imagery to illustrate points
- Auto-save features that are reliable
- Easy to collaborate
Cons
- Navigating the permissioning of users is a tad confusing in the UI. Also not clear how many seats are available for a particular permission.
- I wish there were a few more templates available for common use cases in technology
- Sometimes, rarely, the auto-save feature goes haywire and changes are not saved
- Definitely has improved the quality of output (schemas/visuals to client)
- Definitely reduces completion time as the tool is easy to use and intuitive
- Increases client collaboration and engagement since access to the board can be shared; better client engagement = better client outcomes
Miro has been the cornerstone of our white boarding sessions among our Global and US-dispersed teams. We use it regularly! We also use it externally (with clients) who are dispersed throughout the US. It drives engagement and collaboration for sure. I've even had clients ask "what is Miro and how can I get access to it?"
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with Miro's feature set?
Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes
- Microsoft Azure, Zoom and Microsoft Teams
Miro has far more robust and flexible icons and imagery, and just an overall better user experience. The templates available align more closely to the use cases I have, and I love that it's not an ancillary product from big tech but rather it's own standalone solution. It feels like a product real designers and product pros created backed by business expertise.
