Overall Satisfaction with Miro
we use it for everything from workshops, to project management, to tracking brainstorms and ideation sessions
Pros
- constantly updating UI
- lots of evolving templates
Cons
- sometimes the UI doesn't make sense - talking about the scroll wheel not zooming anymore
- it can be difficult sometimes to find boards
- updates are constant - could use less revs
- adding temp users and making sure they are deleted is cumbersome
- sometimes the app works worse than just using the browser version
- overall positive in mapping and workshop activities
- business model of selling a monthly fee per user has become not sustainable for a large org the size of my company
the ability to expand a pdf into multiple pages has been super helpful!
it has definitely effected HOW I use other software - but it hasn't become the all in one creation platform - just another platform in the stack. I also haven't been able to remove any platforms/replace them with miro, it's just added another tool to the set of tools.
we've used it to collaborate with teams in europe, across the country, in india, multiple time zones and cotenants
Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes
Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?
Yes
Did implementation of Miro go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Miro again?
Yes

- research documentation

Using Miro
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
Like to use Relatively simple Easy to use Technical support not required Quick to learn Convenient Feel confident using Familiar | Not well integrated Inconsistent |
- creation of various workshop documents utilizing templates!
- laying out and connecting steps/workflows
- limitations around color
- limited path creating tools
- getting data into and off of the platform
- for some reason the app seams less stable than the web version? crashes often (or doesn't load a board that's been in an open tab) and forces a restart
