Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for planning and strategy sessions. It's an excellent tool for brainstorming as elements can be so easily moved around the board. The collaborative element is a huge draw card for our team as we're able to use the emojis to vote on ideas, use arrows to connect comments and ideas and group elements in a way that shows what we're thinking better than any other tool. The size of the canvas is also something we love as it allows us to see a large overview of a project. We can spot areas of concern and places where more input might be needed. The ability to add images and links is vital to our work, too.
  • Allows for an overview of large amounts of information
  • Provides training for users
  • Many interactive elements
  • Easy to share and monitor use
  • More colours in the post it notes
  • Ability to add your own thumbnails
  • Easier way to move objects not grouped
  • Made strategic planing easier and more accessible
  • Allowed for virtual collaboration
  • Made is easy for team to give feedback
Absolutely. Before Miro online collaboration was very difficult and relied on long, drawn-out meetings. With Miro we're able to plan ahead and have everyone's thoughts down prior to coming together so that the face to face time (online) is used for discussion and decision making rather than trying to gather ideas and information making us far more productive when working collaboratively.

Collaboration is simple and effective using Miro. We're able to monitor who has viewed or edited boards, and what changes they have made. We value the ability to see a large area of the canvas and then zoom into to smaller areas. The interactive elements mean we can easily vote on ideas or link concepts.

Using Miro

As someone who is not familiar with Mac products, particularly Photoshop, I needed to learn how to move elements around the board before it became very usable for me. This happened quickly but I think a note that familiarity with with this system of interaction with tech might be useful to users like me.
