Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for both my work position and for my doctoral work. I develop technical graphics in both to express my ideas visually to readers and colleagues. I am able to adapt illustrations to my needs for consistency in design and expression so that in a single document, my drawings are compatible. I also use Miro to express actions visually for planning and reporting with colleagues. It is easy to use (mostly) and has improved over the years that I have engaged with it.
  • It is a very useful tool for collaborative online work for real-time expression.
  • It is both infinitely changeable and permanent through features as sizing and locking.
  • Miro is really fun to use and engaging with students.
  • moving across the board quickly through existing work without making unintended changes
  • unplanned enlarging while working
  • Imported tables have improved but I would like to see colored cells and gridlines
  • The free account I use as a student is fantastic!
  • The business account that I use is great too
  • With many users, the business account can be a bit difficult to navigate
Would like better resolutions for exporting graphics to MS Word, for example.
Most of the time it is very useful and helpful for embedding into an article. Some of the sizing is not real clear for novices who tend to work at a huge scale only at 2 or 5% - !
COVID was a huge block but Miro helped us continue to deliver online, collaborative courses. We have also worked well using Miro for distance meetings when everyone has access to the product. The real-time collaboration on the board and with comments for reviewing are very useful for both colleagues and students.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Presentations, exporting to PPT, sending to a desktop as a pdf or jpg are great! It translates to print, but I wish there was better resolution for larger graphics in exportation. Maybe there is?
It isn't completely intuitive - it can be a challenge for on-the-spot student use. I always offer a quick training exercise if I know I will have unfamiliar users join in.
