Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use it as an instructional tool for live classes and tutoring sessions. It can be used by both the tutor and the student pending the student's proficiency in using a stylus to write on the board. Then we either maintain the board for the duration of that student's or class's instruction or create a .pdf version to share with the learner by email for review in perpetuity.
- Simple hotkeys
- Clear exporting
- Easy to use pen tool
- Loading time
- Hanging up upon "update" reloads
- Disconnecting when switching tabs
- Allows us to offer unique products
- Less training time for new tutors
- Enables a content library of old sessions
We use it solely for live instruction of end user students, so there is no "collaboration" per se internally that we do with Miro.
We still have tutors who prefer how they used to do things. The fact that I am able to convince most (not all) of these often stodgy academics to switch to Miro after one demonstration is a testament to how its simple to use interface is truly unique in the market.
