Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Who doesn’t yearn for a tool that gives you so much freedom without being overwhelming!
In my team we use Miro religiously.

From wire framing to interactive presentations Miro has become a foundational step in many of our processes.

Our organisation is geographically spread making in person workshops a costly exercise. Miro provided a cost benefit and enabled remote collaboration in an inclusive way.
  • Synthesising sticky note responses in just a few clicks
  • Enabling participant interactivity during presentations
  • Integrating into third party tools such as Jira
  • Providing a very intuitive user interface
  • Enhancing the breakout frame functionality so that a facilitator can view all frames in a small window and monitor activity
  • The brand centre functionality is clunky and uploading custom fonts is not straight forward
  • More customisability on cards so that we can add custom fields to capture unique information, this will enhance the CSV export feature as spreadsheets will be better formatted for easier analysis
  • Templating could be improved so that set up fields cannot be moved but still have information inputted to them. Make templates more like a form rather than a jumble of shapes and text boxes that need to be unlocked to add content to them.
  • Tables are great but they lack customisability and can be very buggy
  • Allow shapes to be merged or cut from each other. Think about Adobe illustrator and the pathfinder panel...
  • Add some layer functionality to make it easier to view stacked objects
  • Allow shapes and frames to be resized by entering a numeric value e.g. px or mm
  • Provide a personalised toolkit of a users most used shapes, stickers, etc. That way they can be easily accessed instead of searching for them
  • Please contact me for more :)
  • Miro has improved collaboration with venders
  • Miro has saved us costs in travelling to in person workshops
Miro use in our organisation has grown organically. We are a construction organisation and technology adoption generally occurs only when people see the value it provides. This is generally achieved by participating in an online workshop.

It was fairly simple to integrate Jira with Miro
A mentioned previously, we are a geographically spread organisation and bringing everyone together physically is a costly exercise. Miro has enabled us to collaborate remotely whilst retaining that personalised experience.
