Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro mainly as a collaboration tool. It allows people to meet and coordinate without having to be physically together. We also use it in training sessions to allow teams to brainstorm together and save work to refer to later.

Pros

  • collaboration!
  • anonymity
  • visuals

Cons

  • The controls are not super intuitive.
  • I find it is really easy to erase or mess up a board.
  • Seems to be a large learning curve for people who have not used it before.
  • Miro has allowed us to collaborate more effectively while working in a remote setting.
  • Miro has also allowed us to create some really cool visuals, which I find essential when conducting virtual training.
We have done training for up to 250 people at a time, and using Miro during breakout sessions has been so important for us to collaborate and share information among teams without being in person. It has also been a great platform to host our agile events and allow teams to continue using the boards after training.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I really enjoy using Miro and think it is better than other whiteboard software on the market. Once you get used to how to navigate the boards, it becomes fairly easy to do so. I also like the ability to collaborate virtually using Miro. It has come in handy when doing remote/virtual training and events like retrospectives, etc.
