Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro as a designer and student. I use it constantly for different purposes. It's my companion in planning, brainstorming, mapping, and problem-solving. I mostly use it as a chronological document that shows my progress through frames dedicated to every stage of the project I'm working on.
Pros
- Connecting concepts made easy.
- Color coding.
- Organizing thoughts by theme.
- Mapping
- Empathy mapping.
- Flowchart
Cons
- Arrow auto connect.
- Circle as a default shape beside oval.
- Square as a default shape.
- I always have to zoom in enough to select items in a frame. It would be nice to grab even at the zoomed-out level.
- Reduced scatteredness in my thoughts.
- Made access to project steps easy.
- It has enhanced my creativity due to it making ideas readily available for you while you need them.
I've never used the whiteboard, so no comment.
Oh, Miro is much better. I like the brand color, its toolbox, and how easy it is to switch between a Mobile app and a laptop. Mural, as I remember, did not offer a fully functioning app back then. Maybe they do now. This makes me want to recheck the Mural and see how they have improved since I last used it three years ago.
