Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Across my career I have utilized Miro for a wide array of use cases. PI Planning, Design walkthroughs, Team building, Icebreakers, understanding workflows and user experiences, etc. I definitely enjoy working visually and manipulating screens, stickies, and physically even though everyone I work with is remote. But the most critical use case for my work would be design approvals, round tables around UX funnels. Miro definitely makes that work much easier.
Pros
- UX Visualization
- Funnel flows
- Round table ideation
- Mockup presentations
- Team building
Cons
- It's gotten better, but the controls can be tricky
- AI support integration - ideation and the like
- Dynamic Template selections
- Accelerated ideation
- Accelerated communication
- Accelerated planning
- Accelerated execution
- Accelerated go to market
It speeds up our different teams and makes us unified on objectives and end goals based on the project's targets and aspirations. Miro makes it possible for everyone to get their voice heard, and makes it possible to receive that feedback quickly and succinctly. Doing so physically, on site, and in a single location is really expensive and frictive.
Miro is a more well known solution and capability that others have used in previous jobs and so requires less training. It also is more intuitive to pick up and learn on the fly. We also like the levels of templating that people have built for miro and the experiences for collaboration being fantastic.
