Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro for creative brainstorming with my team. Although we use other tools for design, we need a tool to have multiple team members collaborate, share ideas, and make comments and revisions to designs when they're still in the idea phase. I mock up designs for documents, website pages, videos, and social graphics. I share them with my designer, manager, and marketing coordinator for their feedback before moving projects into the design phase.
Pros
- Miro makes it seamless to import images and documents onto a board.
- Miro makes sharing frames or entire boards a simple process, making it easy to collaborate with team members.
- Miro makes it easy to do simple designs and more detailed layouts without the complexity of a design-focused platform.
Cons
- It would be great if Miro made it possible to pin frames and sort through them easier without having to zoom in and out and pan around.
- There are some good templates, but having some that are simpler and a bit more general would be helpful.
- It would be beneficial to have more text formatting options.
- Miro saves the team money in other subscriptions because of the ability to provide feedback on projects.
- Miro's availability in other countries makes it easy to work with team contract members who are located in other countries without us having to pay for additional seats.
- Miro's board limitations cause us to have to delete projects and lost work.
Our team is located around the world. We all play different roles in design, strategy, and copy, so collaboration is very important. Miro's real-time updates, easy to use comments, and live collaboration keep the team in sync while working in different time zones and cities. Our team is able to stay connected on projects without slowing down.
