Overall Satisfaction with Miro
In work we use Miro for a lot of things, be it research purposes, workshops, planning or presentations. It's a good way for us to facilitate sessions online with our clients and get everyone involved in projects. It works for us as a lot of our clients are from different locations and doing things in person doesn't always work out, Miro feels like the more sustainable option for us.
Pros
- Letting you dump all kinds of file types, or links all in one place
- Easy and convenient to design in, quickly
- Great for user journeys
- Great for workshops
- Efficient
Cons
- Organisation of boards / Spaces, it would be nice to have an extra layer of folders to put spaces into
- A way to archive old boards that you no longer need
- Sometimes it can be hard to find certain tools or functionality in the menu, some controls are hidden
- It's a good way to come up with templates, for user interviews, user personas etc meaning we're never starting from scratch on projects
- it's a collaborative way to work which improves how we work with each other
- We worry about how sustainable it is to be using Miro with the amount of boards we have on there
It's been great and it's something we've noticed a lot of our clients are comfortable with using it's not something they feel intimidated to use as it's so easy to jump into a Miro board and start populating boards with post it notes. It consistently makes us more collaborative, but sometimes it can be tricky when someone doesn't have a Miro account and making sure we're sharing the right link to allow them to gain access.
