Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro to organize and present our ideas visually, as a large "pin up" space. I work on a design team, and often times it's difficult to track progress or find certain concepts if they're buried in a deck somewhere. Miro is great because all of the concepts and progress made are all gathered in one place and immediately visually accessible, with notes/feedback/annotations right there on the board.
Pros
- Visual Organization
- Progress Tracking
- Feedback/Collaboration
- Storytelling
Cons
- More sticky note colors
- some kind of auto crop function for images so everything can be gridded nicely
- options to have arrows not snap to image edges (sometimes I'd like to point at a specific part of the image, not the edge
- improved productivity
- greater collaboration
- quicker "check ins"
Our team primarily works remote, so it has been an excellent resource for us. It allows all of us to contribute ideas, concepts, images, and feedback at our own pace in our own time zones, without having to stress about finding assets or comments in emails or chat threads. Using Miro simplifies our communication process and it becomes the go-to place for all project specific questions and feedback. It's also a great tool to keep our stakeholders up to date and provides insight into our process, which is really valuable to our team.
