Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As a product manger working with a remote team, Miro is THE BEST way that i can share ideas and work with my team. We do everything from planning, designing, problem solving to retros within Miro and would be lost without this tool. Further, with the onset of the AI tools we now use Miro to analyze big sets of open comments from our customers to help improve our efficiency

Pros

  • Planning & Retros
  • Collaboration
  • AI analysis

Cons

  • Getting the 'text sizing' correct can be awkward
  • Keeping track of all the boards i am invited to and/or work on
  • Massive boards sometimes cause PC issues/slow down
  • Improved Productivity
  • More aligned thinking between teams
  • Cost savings from less travel to do in person meetings
It has positively impacted our ability to work remotely. Every meeting we have usually has an associated Miro board to help guide the discussions. Without this meetings would be much longer and teams less aligned towards the direction, particularly when looking at complex journey maps that require changes and input form multiple stakeholders
Miro outshines platforms like Trello when it comes to visualization. We still use Trello to help track our work but always we link to a Miro within those pieces of work

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is perfect for those that need to collaborate closely but perhaps do not work near one another, you are able to manage meetings effectively within Miro and setting boards up for discussions is quick and easy. An area where Miro does not quite hit the mark is on anything to do with data/numbers. The heavy lifting needs to be done outside of Miro as tools do not exist to simply import spreadsheets etc
