Great visual collaborative tool that brings disparate teams together
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro to help facilitate meetings such as retrospectives and also to document our solution architecture. We also join some of the training seminars which are very useful
Pros
- Collaboration, particularly when remote.
- Open canvas graphic documentation creation
- Templates, lots of great templates
Cons
- Sometimes gets a bit buggy when multiple layers
- Data hosting locations - could be more options
- Ability to control users on more basic plans
- Hard to quantify, but lots of improvements in our meetings and documentation
- New techniques for facilitation
- Sometimes get bogged down in multiple templates - too many options
Greatly improved, both with remote teams and in-person sessions. Great at bringing together hybrid sessions where people aren't able to meet in person. Love the ability to increase collaboration through unlicensed users being able to join using a free link and instantly collaborate. Keep those on calls awake or engaged by making them interact rather than just talking at them.
- Microsoft Visio, Notion and Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite
We use a lot of products, each have their advantage. Miro has the best templates and also provides the best training. Lucid has some better data centre hosting location options and also account management team is very good.
