Easy to use tool for organizing chaos
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro in 3 setups:
- personal: for organizing my thoughts, visualizing and quickly assessing ideas, preparing content for presentations, and preparing diagrams for documentation
- 1 to 1 conversations and small groups: for quickly visualizing ideas, getting people on the same page and getting to alignment on the topic at hand
- larger audiences: for running workshops and presenting ideas

Pros
- having a low barrier of entry
- linking to both external (e.g. websites) and internal (e.g. frames) content
- providing multitude of integrations and extensions (e.g. icon library, library of templates, tools for clustering content)
Cons
- organizing and categorizing boards
- finding boards based on their content
- ease of drawing line on top of content without snapping to shapes
- reduced time to align on the issues at hand
- increased participation in group workshops leading to more diversified conclusions
- reduction of the number of tools used across the organization
Miro allows us to collaborate in-real time on more complex topics and facilitate large-scale workshops which would be otherwise problematic given remote nature of our company.
I believe that without non-invasive tool support we would struggle to ideate on some of the problems we tackled.

- Mural and Google Jamboard
Miro provides better user experience and has significantly lower barrier of entry. It provides way more integration points and extensions, and has large community build around it.
