Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use it for collaborative roadmap planning and company-wide readouts, ideation on new product features, capturing and sharing research, and working on collaborative meetings.
Pros
- Live collaboration with folks around the world.
- Provides Some useful templates that can inspire the utilization of Miro.
- AI innovation -- you are rolling out exciting ideas quickly.
Cons
- The template library is overwhelming. I think you could have a range of sophistication, like simple/medium/complex, and allow the user to choose. As it sits right now, all templates default to complex.
- The directory capabilities for saving and managing Miro files are annoying. I have a hard time finding what I've made in the past and what others have made.
- Improved productivity. We are a global team, and there's no other way without Miro.
Yes, this is a key value point for us. We are completely global and distributed and Miro makes it easy to forget that.
- Figma, Notion and Atlassian Confluence
Figma is generally all about UX designs but is trying to compete with Figma Jam. Not there yet. At this point, the notion is overly complicated for target Miro use cases. Confluence isn't as friendly for live collaboration, whiteboarding vibe, etc.
