Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro has been an extremely versatile and easy-to-use tool for our team. I use Miro for one-on-one meetings, presentations, competitive research, user testing notes, user journeys, and much more. It's an extremely adaptable tool that can be applied to nearly any situation or problem especially when working with cross-functional teams. It's user friendly—even those who are not tech savvy are able to participate with ease. Lastly, the Miro Team is always updating the tool and taking user feedback to improve the experience. Work life without Miro would be drastically different!

Pros

  • User Flows and User Journeys are very easy to create
  • Templates give you a jumpstart on projects
  • Miro is constantly making updates to improve service
  • Collaboration is easy and there's always a history to track changes

Cons

  • Miro should look at the functionality of design tools like Figma to see what features they could borrow
  • Adding links to assets can be a bit awkward since there's two ways to do it
  • Frames can be a bit wonky and I wish they had the option for sections like Figma
  • Productivity: team meetings, one-on-ones, presentations with business partners, discover work, etc...
  • Creativity: organization, research assets, inspiration boards are all great for reference
  • Presentations: still not a great replacement for PPT in our company
I'm not sure what we would do without Miro. I have not come across a tool quite as versatile or useful for so many people in so many different roles than I have this application. When starting a project or a meeting, I Miro always comes to mind as a top application to use because of it's breadth of features

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Well suited: user flows, user journeys, user testing notes, prototype screenshots, competitive analysis, visual competitive analysis, research analysis, collaboration, Team meetings, one-on-ones, project documentation, organizing workshops with UX team members or cross-functional partners

Less appropriate: prototyping, designing, research readouts, creating PDFs from presentations, substitute for powerpoint, designing (Figma substitute), designing (Figma companion)
