Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for everything! Planning content calendars, brand strategy, design, team reviews, preparing for talks, etc. It's even been used within our organization to plan screenplays, outline books, and do off-topic brainstorms. It really keeps us organized and on the same page and has been a core piece of our app stack for the last five years.

Pros

  • Collaboration between groups of employees separated by distance.
  • Collaboration with clients during the build phase of a campaign.
  • Organization of complex ideas into addressable chunks.

Cons

  • There are seemingly endless updates that constantly force you to reload your work, sometimes while in the middle of a session.
  • The video calling tool is good, but not great. More features here would be awesome!
  • Boards with many pages can be slow to load and hard to move around and engage with.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Better team collaboration.
  • More team transparency around ideas.
We have a team distributed across three regions. Miro allows us to connect with other parties and allow them to collaborate on their own schedule without needing to make part of our team work at crazy hours! Plus, it's great for days where it's too cold to leave home to travel to the office.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

It's a phenomenal tool for collaboration internally with teams and externally with clients. We frequently find ourselves uploading PDFs onto blank screens just so we can all make notes simultaneously. The extract tool is seriously incredible for that. It can be challenging to load a board with many pages, but that's a small price to pay and an easy solve by just making multiple boards.
