Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro helps me quick diagrams and mocks for UI/UX, flowcharts and screen by screen breakdown of what I design. It helps work through the entire process from start to finish by helping me easily brainstorm in one play, make almost therapeutic to make spider diagrams with coloured post-its that really help me visualise my thoughts. It helps me collaborate with everyone in the team who can comment, add or change as required and I can still view the new changes and discuss in the chat on the side. The latest Ai integrations help plan out work for the whole team and get brainstorming done without breaking a sweat, even quickly remove backgrounds that make designing mocks a breeze! Now I love that we can present the board and record a video too, unfortunately I haven't been able to test that out yet, but it's such a brilliant addition to a great platform like Miro!
Pros
- Collaboration - chat features, who's online, follow someone, work together, see changes and history, mail updates on new changes
- Tools to visualise anything and everything - shapes, AI background removal, easy to make all basic shapes, diagramming and cropping are so simple, can also draw free hand quick diagrams
- Quick, easy and intuitive - all tools are easy to use and well presented - not confusing at all!
Cons
- More Ai templates to use - there only a few options
- The current brain storming Ai template's answers require some tweaking, but there's no option to provide input on how they should be
- Maybe some template stuff like phone frames - easy to present and showcase products/ mocks for UI/UX or any mobile product
- Help communicate ideas to teammates who don't speak the same language - visually brilliant to communicate with Miro
- Accelerated design processes - easier to make boards than long boring documents!
- Improved project management - easy to track and share work in one place with the whole team
It has contributed tremendously to my team of around 10 members who are across the globe. They do not all speak english and need real visual examples and references to work with ease. I use all Miro tools to make everything as visual as possible. Miro is the number 1 solution for us to collaborate easily and make sure everyone is on the same page through out.
Miro is way more intuitive and have more visual tools. Most of the other applications are more focused on text/word based work, doesn't provide enough visual tools to work and hence seem very limiting. The design softwares are visually the best, but do not have enough options to collaborate or put in text/words. Miro is the perfect balance between both these sides.
