Miro Review
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Mostly for team meetings and collaboration. We develop patio furniture and being able to put up a sketch or a model that everyone on the team can see and use the drawing and sticky note tools to ideate has been very helpful to us. We also use Miro to organize our timelines and sampling schedules for each item and for each customer we supply.
Pros
- Image organization
- Sticky notes
- Drawing tools
- live collaboration
Cons
- The calendar and timeline features
- Ability to put items in a folder to reduce board size
- more streamlined collaboration
- ability to have multiple users has reduced time in meetings as team members can access the board on their own time
I suggested to my boss that my team use Miro and it has been one of the best suggestions I've ever made. My team has been able to ideate and collaborate so much more smoothly since we are all remote workers. Being able to discuss multiple ideas and brainstorm about them on a call has been extremely helpful to our design process.
I was less than impressed with Canvas collaborative whiteboard feature. It was very clunky, hard to use and difficult to find basic tools like pens and shapes. Miro has things exactly where I need them, board movement and navigation is smooth and easy, and tools are easy to find and shortcutable.
