Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used primarily by product, tech and design teams to create product roadmaps, do planning exercise, conduct sprint ceremonies like retro, sprint planning, creating tech diagrams, flow diagrams, conduct workshops, user interviews, market research, wireframing, etc. We also use Miro for all internal collboration and brainstorming meetings as our teams sit across 5 different countries and Miro helps us to get everyones thoughts and do virtual whiteboard sessions.
Some business and ops teams also use Miro for creating their project plans, presentations.

Pros

  • Flow diagrams
  • Presentations
  • Whiteboard brainstorming
  • Conducting user interviews
  • summarizing feedback
  • creating documents
  • Voting

Cons

  • Excel like formula for tables and calculations in tables
  • Integration with google documents
  • Prototype for designs
  • Improved productivity across teams
  • Reduce cost for in person meetups required
  • Reduce no of different product subscriptions, as everything can be done inside one product Miro
It was easy to start using Miro within the organization, it also has integrations possible with almost all other apps we use internally
As mentioned in previous questions, Miro has the biggest plus point in helping remote teams collaborate virtually.

Specially when we want to do product discovery and brainstorm ideas for solutions on new product features, Miro whiteboard helps us to allow everyone to add their ideas quickly as postit notes and for people to vote and take decisions together. It is almost like doing a brainstorming session with everyone sitting in the same room.
Notion is great for notetaking and creating directories and allow everyone to contribute together

Trello allows you to craete teams, assign tasks and collobarte

Figma provides capabilities to create wireframes, take notes, collaborates and present as slides

Miro stands out as it can do everything in one tool. You don't need 10 different tools and can do everything together in one place, plus some additional features
