Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for brainstorms and campaign development. It's a new tool for our team, but has been great for our creative team to share designs, scripts and give feedback. It allows us to keep a running list of every ones ideas and concepts in one place without it being a shared file. It also operates well with the file types our team is designing.

Pros

  • Gives you the full picture of a project from start to finish
  • Allows for feedback & brainstorming with post it notes
  • Allows one person to present their concepts or ideas

Cons

  • The site can be slow and slow down my computer.
  • I'm not sure if this is possible, but it would be nice to see who posted what content
  • Improved Productivity
  • Allows for inspiration to spread between teams / people
I haven't used all that Miro has to offer, but it's very easy to use. I jumped in with no issues and am adding comments and uploading my own content. The timer function is great for keeping us on track. The poll function is fantastic as well in narrowing down concepts.
It has greatly impacted our ability to collaborate, as one persons progress on the miro board inspires everyone else. If one designer drops in their concepts it (1) reminds the other designers to do the same and (2) gives them a jump off point to improve the creative. It's great for collaboration and inspiraiton.

My favorite use is for brainstorming. It allows for everyone to put their ideas in one place. Second is for campaign development. Although Miro tends to load slow with all of the creative on our board, it is awesome to see everything the team has put together from start to finish. It shows the evolution of the campaign and we don't lose good ideas that were mentioned in the beginning, because they're still on the board.
