Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro virtually to run team sessions, facilitate brainstorming, and provide asynchronous working and feedback.

Pros

  • Basic connecting the team to a virtual space.
  • Clearly labels active contributors.
  • Cartoon-esque feel (arty).

Cons

  • Its very basic and doesn't connect with other platforms well.
  • Not integrated fully into Microsoft or Google.
  • Limits collaboration without additional licenses.
  • Hard to secure some workspaces from colleagues.
  • Its improved casual productivity.
  • Its user friendly so picked up quickly.
  • We kinda moved on to Whiteboard after people got the concept.
Its easier as a standalone tool.
It improved it by being basic and user-friendly. It started us on our virtual collaboration journey, but ultimately, we moved on to a more integrated solution.
We selected Miro initially during COVID....grabbing at stuff to help us navigate working virtually. It stuck for a while through ease of use and standalone - But as working virtually became normal, we moved on to Microsoft.

No

No

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

No

Miro is suitable for informal, casual team activities, such as team building or brainstorming. Perhaps a workshop playground - For the more serious - Try whiteboard or similar that embeds better into Microsoft architecture and TEAMS.
