Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro helped us to create workflow board to implement our latest project for our Customer. Our goal was to use Miro for designing and managing the workflow in our project that use OpenStack for VM management, integrate Veeam for backup and recovery, and implement the solution in .NET. Miro helped us in collaboration and technical implementation planning and provided us with tools to streamline these aspects.

Pros

  • Visual Planning
  • Cross-Team Collaboration
  • UX/UI Designing

Cons

  • Inconsistent at times
  • Lesser Advance Features
  • Limited Integration with Development Tools
  • Productivity Improvement with Collboration and Visual Planning
  • Reduced Time for Agile Sprint Planning
  • Reduced Costs by using Miro with Remote Teams
Miro has several features to help team remotely collaborate with team members at different locations. Miro has a large and infinite visual canvas with real-time editing and drag-drop features that help our team members with different roles such as architect, developers, administrators etc. to decide and agree on the steps in the plan. Miro has helped us to speed up planning and identify bottlenecks early in the process.
monday.com is a useful tool but unlike Miro it is basically used for project management and tracking deadline. It does not have the capabilities of Visual Planning like Miro has. Microsoft Whiteboard is also used for collaborative brainstorming, and planning. However, Miro is better because it has built-in templates and more advanced features and integrations.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is an excellent tool for Visual Planning and Team Collboration. It is very useful during brainstorming and capturing ideas from various stakeholders and team members. It has built-in templates to get started with design ideas and sprint planning. However, it might not be suitable for complex and advanced use cases such as full fledged UI/UX designing.
