Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro mainly for collaboration topics and discussions with our design agency. Other than that we showcase different customer journeys to our internal stakeholders which helps a lot better to get full understandings. Sometimes it is used for collaboration in meetings. I use it personally to get my to do list updated.

Pros

  • showcase
  • collaboration tools
  • help me organize myself

Cons

  • access management is bad
  • full licenses, no licenses, passwords etc
  • switch between several Miro areas
  • copying stuff from one Miro to another
  • Efficiency in virtual meetings
  • Presentation to large group of stakeholders
  • Mainly time efficiency
As I am admin and holder for many Miro boards I am sometimes struggling with user management and I am sure that there ae easier options than the ones Miro provides at the moment. Miro itself can be easy used and when I compare to Figma, which is the other tool we often use, Miro is much more user friendly.
Lists, visual presentation modes, organization of meetings which are in our organization mostly be online only and sometimes in really big groups. maybe an easier connect to Microsoft teams, e.g.: big teams call is split into different rooms an these teams should work on different pasrt of a Miro board.
In my organization I do not see any descrease in tool overload and I personally think that it is not about reducing tools but in connecting existing tool better and easier and find my way from one tool to another and back to the tool where I cam from. This last part is in many cases missing and it would be outstanding is miro offers a good solution.
We have all these in place and use Miro on top, besides, as stated before I do not see a need in reducing tools but connecting them better. Ideal situation is done at Confluence and jira. for some of our tasks they are a bit techie driven and therefore we use Miro.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro helps you to make your information easy shareable, specially for repetitive topics which come again and again from different stakeholders. Her it would be easier to have another rights management, specially when you want to lock several parts or to edit for some colleagues, but not for all of them when the Miro board is shared. Sometimes loading times are a bit long, not easy to screenshare within teams call
