Overall Satisfaction with Miro
To create a flowchart of different test cases of experiments. The business problem is related to improving data integrity and providing a centralized location to record pertinent information, along with other necessary tools. The scope of the use case is to facilitate brainstorming activities, enabling multiple people across the organization to view and make changes to information in real-time.
Pros
- Drawing features.
- Post it notes.
- Sync
- Collaboration
Cons
- There is some difficulty when there are multiple boards in one page.
- It is difficult to tell who made the changes so helpful if it tracks that information.
- I have struggled with the copy and paste feature in the past, where the placement is not always precise for me.
- Better collaboration with colleagues in different time zones.
- Improves east of project delivery.
- Reduces use of other software for tracking progress.
- Helps efficiently make decisions if there are road blockers.
For us, the tools of post-its, annotations, and flowcharts have been the most impactful and useful for day-to-day activities.
Yes, it has reduced the use of presentations or Word documents that were initially sent to others in different departments. At this point, we have a standard link to Miro that we use for all collaboration. Since Powerpoint was initially used to create diagrams and flowcharts, that has been eliminated as Miro has that capability.
Jira is actively used in conjunction with Miro to track activities, and it offers functionalities that differ from Miro. However, it is much easier to create tables and diagrams in Miro. The advantage of Jira is that it enables the management of digital projects more effectively, including testing and the introduction of new features.
