Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is the lifeblood of the product organisation. We use it all the time. Whether it's for large cross-team workshops, async collaboration or organisation of your own data points, we use it daily. It has become so effective that we even now use it for inperson workshops. Collaboration has never been so easy.

Pros

  • Async collaboration
  • Cross-functional workshops
  • Information sharing

Cons

  • Slight lag when opening large board
  • Smoother access journey
  • AI image creation
  • Better collaboration
  • More structured meetings
  • Accelerated product discovery
Miro is super intuitive. I didn't receive any training as to how to use the tool but as soon as I started, I found it super easy to just pick it up and use.
The tools that I use the most are object creation to build structure to the board. Postit notes to add ideas and for collaboration. Voting to get a shared view on priorities. AI grouping to group ideas into categories. Preset templates for opportunity solution trees, raid logs and roadmaps. And the simple text function for adding any information.
Hmmm not really. For us, Miro solves a specific purpose around collaboration but we still need other tools like jira for detailed backlog management, powerpoint for more formal presentations and aha for detailed roadmapping. It works fantastic for what it does but it hasn't replaced any of our other tools.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

The most well suited scenario is for organising cross-team workshops. It makes it really easy to build a workshop flow, add structure and allow other people to easily contribute. A great example of this is ideation workshops. You can have a timeboxed section to share information, then another section of the board, you can allow everyone to add post-its with their ideas, then you can come back together to playback and then use Miro's voting feature to allow everyone to vote on their favourite ideas. It works really well
