Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is primarily used for project development and ideation, helping to map processes and thoughts, as well as capture conversations and threads of ideas. It also allows for shared remote work. The work is mainly consultation and strategic planning.

Pros

  • Visualisation of data and connections.
  • Mind mapping.
  • "Real-time" capture of conversations and ideas.

Cons

  • The billing system is somewhat complex.
  • Shared workspaces and access between team members.
  • Ability to "easily" export snapshots.
  • Data export into non-image-based formats.
  • Efficiency in some workflow.
  • Sharing of thoughts and ideas.
  • Presentation opportunities.
It's mostly good, but there are some quirks with sharing data and access.
The primary use is for shared whiteboards, capturing ideas, and making connections.
Miro and Asana are the primary tools for ideation and project development currently used.
Miro is the leading platform we use to develop ideas and map processes.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

No

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is well suited to group planning sessions - consultations and workshops, where there are open or lead conversations - this has required a board operator to input data - but allows groups to see their ideas and thoughts populate overviews... the AI summation of data is also really useful would like to see it being more suitable for more formal meetings, capturing data and surmising key points ( like some Zoom ai functionality)
