Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is a great visual collaboration platform for our geographically dispersed team members that we use as the single source of truth. Not only do we use it internally, but it can easily be shared with our clients so our work is in full transparency. So we end up using Miro for all our work really, including process maps. service design maps, stakeholder maps, or any presentations really.
Pros
- Sharing with external clients
- Great range of templates
- Makes the tool fun: music, stickers, etc
Cons
- Miro board can get too crowded. An AI organiser would be useful.
- A highlights section could be useful as well
- Text fonts/options would be expanded
- I'm not a director so I don't have access to metrics to share ROI.
- Definitely more engagement with clients
- Definitely increased efficiency for remote-based members.
- Decreasing software because some members now creates presentation slides in Miro and stopped using Powerpoint
Sticky notes is wonderful - really mirror real-life exercise. Stickers are also great - really adds flavor and fun to the work that we do. Allowing external users without Miro licenses to view or edit the boards have been critical for work done with clients including collaborative exercises done in real-time.
Yes, as mentionned, I've begun to use miro for more and more work. Powerpoint is not as used as much anymore since Miro has great functionality to create great slides. With better graphics, comment functionality, etc there's no need for Powerpoint at all. Ability to export into other file types also helps.
