Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

My organization uses monday.com as a project management software, database of documents, and to-do list of items. Monday.com is used by every individual at the organization which has been especially helpful as there was a wide range of tools/processes being used before. It has assisted in keeping track of action items, project progress, document organization, etc.

Pros

Cons

  • being able to use Google Drive in the desktop app
  • "My Tasks" section that compiles all of your tasks across boards
  • main page on board allowing for documents to be tagged
  • team collaboration on tasks
  • document organization
  • saved time
  • sped up timeline of projects
Monday.com lives up to what it advertises. However, there are a few areas where it is lacking or I have found that other tools do it better which is why I could not give it a 10/10. It was a bit difficult to get my team to fully utilize the feature or remember to keep it updated. Overall, I have a very high opinion of monday.com and feel that it can help many individuals and/or organizations.
I have never utilized the customer support functions that are built into the tool. However, the blog posts and other resources are very helpful and I used this often when getting my team set up and when troubleshooting.
Monday.com has been a reliable and well-designed web tool since my team adopted it almost a year ago. However, desktop and mobile apps are not as easy to use. There is a difference in features offered between the three versions which can be confusing. The features and price point of monday.com make it an affordable and easy-to-use option.

Monday.com is great for a smaller team that is looking for a tool that is easy to onboard and train. It is great to keep track of to-do items but is not the best for use as a project management lifecycle tool. Monday.com easily integrates with several of the common workplace tools but there its usability does vary from the desktop app to the webpage.
