Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

I use monday.com as a Design Lead for architectural projects - tracking projects on our Design Board, using status labels, percentage complete, deadlines, etc. I will comment plan updates, upload files for peer feedback, and ask questions. I also have a board where I provide my manager with daily updates. The product is great for communication with coworkers, especially when you work for a company with multiple disciplines across multiple locations, which is my case.

Pros

  • unlimited tools for organization
  • color coding
  • easy to use interface
  • well coordinated with emailing if you choose

Cons

  • Within a Board, it would be nice to be able to make a Group with columns that differ from another Group for even more customization
  • Upon viewing a file that was included in someone's post/comment, eliminating the side and bottom scroll bars and making it easier to zoom and pan around the document
  • team/company collaboration
  • project accountability and progress tracking
  • everything in one place
It is super simple to use and the endless customization tools are useful and help to specialize workspaces unique to different jobs/tasks
This is not applicable to me, but based on the regular communication I receive from Monday.com via email, I do not doubt that customer service would ensure a good experience.
I have not had any issues with functions not working properly. I believe monday.com has significantly impacted my productivity and workflow as far as project tracking and communication with team members/coworkers goes

Monday.com is an amazing tool for multiple discipline companies. In my case, I work for a Design Builder who has Architecture, Construction, Real Estate, and Property Management among others. There are also two offices. If we did not have Monday.com to use as our hub for general/office-wide updates and to keep up with cross-discipline projects it would be a pain to deal with keeping up with emails/calling. It is super easy to just post a set of plans or renderings to an item and @ everyone on the item or what have you. It is also helpful to tag people and see when they have seen the post, which better enforces follow-up
