monday.com - Worth the time of implementation
Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
We rely on automations and form submissions to start our workflows or create projects. As tasks move through a workflow, it's very easy to see what stage of the workflow the task is in. Projects that are created give the flexibility to the project managers to assign tasks and keep everyone on track.
Pros
- Automations
- Notifications
- User Management
Cons
- Subitem Automations - this would be so helpful.
- Include many apps free of charge instead of having to pay for each individual app
- Allow users that are in the same domain to be guests. We work with sevaral departments and need them to interact with the system and not just be a viewer. These are temporary sponsors.
- Develope a simple vertical view of each task instead of scrolling side to side as in a spreadsheet.
- The positive impact is the ability to report on productivity and knowing how much work our team has.
- The ability to prove how many projects or workflows our team has completed.
- Negative impact - a few employees don't like using monday.com. They were used to a less formal system.
For the most part monday.com is very reliable. There are always times when a feature breaks in all SAS, and it's never at a convenient time. Currently, we have over 100 workflows and projects. monday.com processes tasks seamlessly and saves all of us time with its' automations. We are hoping we can continue to use monday.com and not have to switch to MS Project as it would be a severe downgrade in features.
