Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite

  • ERP systems usually are strong in an specific areas, whether sales, finance, programs, etc.. In my opinion Netsuite leans towards the financial management.
  • Grant Cycle for Nonprofits.
  • Integrated system and easy to support as it was one application to cater.
I implemented Netsuite and used it for 3 years in my company. Overall, it is solid and full of features and it's easy to use for an ERP system. ERP systems usually are strong in an specific areas, whether sales, finance, programs, etc.. In my opinion Netsuite leans towards the finance side, although I was happy with it's other modules. Availability of service was strong including support if you had the right plan. Switching from Netsuite to another app is a little painful since it was not an easy do-it-yourself job but they offer services of course.

Using NetSuite

15 - Executive, Sales, Customer Service, HR and Consulting.
3 - Administration and also reporting.
  • Financial Management
  • Ordering and Billing
  • Planning
  • HR
  • Sales
I am not using this app as we merge with another organization that uses another app, but if I were to renew I was happy enough to give it 8 out of 10.

Evaluating NetSuite and Competitors

At this company we did not switch. It was the first ERP implementation.

NetSuite Training

NetSuite Support

Support is only good if you have a good plan which was not cheap.

Using NetSuite

Netsuite is easier for more techie users than all.

NetSuite Reliability

I only experienced downtime during known scheduled downtime and maybe only one incident.

Relationship with NetSuite

NetSuite management is very philanthropic. Nonprofits can negotiate to get the license fees for free but you have to pay for support.
